They can touch some forbidden things for us, in the 70s. THa paedofilia of Noiret, and the insinuatiing girl (shw shows her breasts) to Sordi,are awesome. I thinks it was tolerated because was just the exposition of crime and subsequent plot of chasing wrong (and idiot) man Sordi.

A world apart for Garrone inside his own napolitan world. Tracy eats the cast and the film, and he has great and furious dialogue. Weak Gene, in spite of good lines in reply to Tracy's desire. Brown is ok in the intimate scenes and in the epic.

Affected Zurlini, Delon is a wild, fresh, but nervous and romantic and generous character going around with presumably deadly Petrova. Zurlini coud be dense and intellectual as Antonioni, while being somehow vulgar. Gianini and Randone are the best.
