(OK) Great story, subversion from the last of prisons, the undefined mental hospital, where people is so 'worked on' that they destroy their will to be free, haunting them with their complexes as Brad Dourif or with lobotomy as Nicholson...

(OK) War almost comedy, the tragic ending and the closeness of war, doesn't allow other options. Zampa sustains a long sequence in paroxism, ioth the german and the afroamerican in an alcoholic spree...

(Mu) Sembene announcing the splendour of "La noire de...": good rythm, short direct narration, voice in off intensifying character...

(MU) Grande Rejtman, sus personajes solo pueden ser suyos, tan ordinarios en lo que saben , tan extraordinarios en lo que les pasa y en su instinto de sobrevivir en el margen sin saberlo. Son subversivos naif, yonkis inconfesos ('mi depresión es emocional u orgánica?) y niegan lo evidente con tal ternura, que conmueven...

(MU) Touching, ironic, tragic in the end, poetic in the narration in off, maybe too hard on the french woman (the man is 'pardoned') personalizing her injustice instead of depicting a general problem of identity...

(Mu) Cult bizarre film, too funny to be a rock opera, too well produced in backgruond and gadgets to not be taken in some seriousness; the spirit of manga and Hollywood spoofs, all mixed...

(OK) So charming, colourfull (Sidney is MGM musical splendour) when Presley and Danova visit many shows looking for Margret. Ann is wonderfull, a great star whor arrived late to the musical and had to work in another kind of films...

(OK) So elegant, bien fait, great acting by them all, specially by Berry as le diable meme. Decors are irreal, dreamlike secuences are fascinant inside the irreaism predominant...
