(OK) I like the melancholy of the film, the non explicit undestanding and the lies and hard truths between mother and son; but Ozu is a bit heavy and clumsy in his first nosn silent film.

(OK) Deliberately obscure to justify the characters doubts (making a silent and confusing victim), so you arrive to the liberation unsatisfied. Good ol Jodie...

(OK) Not a sequel, but a return to the them and mythical spot, more agile and funny, but a contrived and a bit confusing plot.
