(OK) Apart from a weak actor as Scipione; everything is brilliant. From Cabiria to this Scipione mass action in italian cinema is in its peak. Hannibal is so moving loving theforeign land he figths for; Sofonisba is the perfec Cleopatra, her king is a 'don´t ask a madman for his madness' great support character, Isa Miranda is tragic...there are elegant touches between action (as a siluette of a ship depicting the bitter return of Hannibal)...
