(OK) Overvalued but anyhow valliant and modern. The genre perspective has force and -there is a problem- collides with the strike itself. Some paralellisms (heroine in labor and his husband) are lousy; but the picketing women are great

(Mu) British realism at its best, in just one situation, a mother that dates her old flame hiding his 3 sons outside the disco....and its convincing

(Mu) Varda is a good art critis, so listen to her narration/description in off. Is always better than the interviews. The murals, well, is always interesting to compare them with ehat would've look if they were simple paints hanging...

(MU) 3 munutes, anything goes, and for Agenes here is the stairs of la Cinemateque with scenes with stairs in films...

(Yt) The flair, the rythm, the humour of 'Lady vanishes'; but not as perfect. This has some irregular ups and downs, plays with time and has a great ending with the killing of a dead man. Lom has a good segment...

(Mu) Lacks the wit and the joy of other Rohmer's, but has the quality of an essay narrated in off, with the bonus of a dream. It has the quality of being disturbing

(C) The narrative of astonishment, this is the kind of film/spectacle where you can number in an add the epic segments: look at the fight with the giant squid, look at ta submarine burial, look al the race of the canibals....
