The Cisco Kid review

Posted : 4 years, 5 months ago on 30 August 2020 02:34 (A review of The Cisco Kid)

(YT) Conchite Montenegro is very seductive and is credible that Cisco returns to her, but he prefers the widow. Besides that preferences, is a happy even dramatic not epic western, with mexican allure. Funny hear Baxter singing to the children "La cucaracha ya no puede caminar, porque no tiene mariguana que fumar". Happy innocent times.

The Circus (1928) review

Posted : 4 years, 5 months ago on 30 August 2020 02:30 (A review of The Circus (1928))

(OK) Sad and consistent; the clown without knowing his success and then knowing it is irrelevant, because he leaves fame and romance, for remaining a tramp...

One in a Thousand review

Posted : 4 years, 5 months ago on 30 August 2020 02:23 (A review of One in a Thousand)

Young Bess review

(OK) Good all british cast, although there's better Sidney's than this one. Action and romance lacks some brio. Kay Walsh and Cecil Kellaway are better than the leads...

Swing High, Swing Low review

Posted : 4 years, 5 months ago on 30 August 2020 02:05 (A review of Swing High, Swing Low)

(OK) Could a trumpet be romantic? Lombard says no, MacMuray demonstrates it is romantic, and rounds her neck with him and his instrument. Bizarre image that swings and ends brilliantly this love affair.... Lamour and Quinn in small roles...

Retablo review

Posted : 4 years, 6 months ago on 23 August 2020 01:16 (A review of Retablo)
