(Festival de Lima, virtual). Toal apuesta por la calidez, más sexo y libertad de opción que violencia y desgracia. Ni los prejuicios ni la pobreza limitan tanto, Navas sigue con mucha comprensión a sus personajes, y sabe reunirlos.

(OK) Lourcelles likes its rudeness and loves the secuence of Roddy McDowell in classroom with his gun. Imaginative in his violence preaching, but stretches at the end. Pretty effective...

(OK) Grat tale, almost a fable, of love betwenn a monarck and the flower of the people, tragically dead to save him.... Mizoguchi ins consrained, he has colour and depp focous to see characters moving in the sets, he palace or the dirty kitchn where begins all...

(OK) Good all british cast, although there's better Sidney's than this one. Action and romance lacks some brio. Kay Walsh and Cecil Kellaway are better than the leads...

(OK) Could a trumpet be romantic? Lombard says no, MacMuray demonstrates it is romantic, and rounds her neck with him and his instrument. Bizarre image that swings and ends brilliantly this love affair.... Lamour and Quinn in small roles...

(NX) La corrección, los temas del momento desde un trabajo de campo tan riguroso como el aprovechamiento del folclor y el paisaje. Cierta debilidad y pasividad delperosnaje principal frente al padre, aunque hay una resolución final coherente. Ayacucho es inspirador...

(OK) Kind of pre Akahige (Redbeard), with a whimsical samurai saving lige of impetuos young ones. I like Mifune/Sanjuro beaing embarrasses and angry becuase he acuases too many deaths. And, yeah, nice ideas the camelias as signals...

(ZW) 'Corruptionploitation' kind of treatmen, with charactersso consicious of thier risks or of their vengeance, sauf the girl. But Kurosawa manages with brio and lot of elements each sequence, specially the wedding at the beginning...

(OK) Even the stagey sequences are so rich and full of nternal action and gestures. The main King Learesque character goes wrong in every decision and even that he is so human and caring. The chorus around him is great, the clown, the blind boy in the edge of the abyss....

(OK) Some hitchcockian excesses, too freudian and explicative, but some of the best moments of love affair, and psycho intenity...
