Richard Jewell review

Posted : 4 years, 4 months ago on 19 January 2020 04:52 (A review of Richard Jewell)

Just one scene: Rockwell and his assistant seeing Richard arguing and then asking forgiveness to mom Kathy Bates, is priceless. There's is the film, world problems as terrorism and journalism and FBI, are just background.

Bacurau review

Posted : 4 years, 4 months ago on 19 January 2020 04:48 (A review of Bacurau)

Bacurau is a center of a peculiar world but it is not in Google Maps. The struggle with white crazy terrorism, against 'sertao pernambuquense' rebellious collective legacy, is ok

Operation Crossbow review

Posted : 4 years, 4 months ago on 12 January 2020 04:58 (A review of Operation Crossbow)

Not much more than the good cast (forget peppard and Johnson, you hace trevor and Mills and Courtenay and excellent mature Lilly Palmer and one of the best Sophias close ups ever), but when the plot comes to a hard moment there it is, Sophia dies early...

1917 review

Posted : 4 years, 4 months ago on 12 January 2020 04:55 (A review of 1917 )

3 stars just becaus is starts and reovlts in discussion. Formality show off has been discussed a lot; my point is other: the real time distorts too much, pain and cavilation, stress and relative distresses and waiting, and impatience because of waitin, all of these fundamental matters of war...does not have enough time
