(OK) First complete Sirk melodrama, music as one of the themes, some mystic and painfull scenes, some emphasis in angles, boy most of all a good narration in spite of two and three times story...

(OK) Musis and easy romance in a mix of Spapin and Arabia, with russians in Hllywood marine style. Donlevy is spirited and Eve Arden is funny, becuase Ivonne is a lousy dancer and Aumont is a big smile and not the handsome star he could be...

(usb) Pretty thoughts an images, with syncopated speed,on 'mediated' lonelyliness, even suicide; and love findings...

(Usb) Lucia narrtaes her story in nice tone, but there´s no other voice, not even the director. Not even a question about her controversila decission of abandoning her career and the meaning it had for fight against racism...

(Mu) Great cast in an exhuberant multilayer (two historic moments and a operatic one) , 'drole', comic, with some tragic touches in the past....nice background the seminar... Ardant is so mature here...

(Mu) Rovette indulges too much in himselg, and its too long for a poor stoyr; but some interesting touches of characters confronted with elusive truth revelaed in chinese boxes..Maria and Joe as cat and mouse is interesting

(Usb) Good them, but short of drama, there´s not even trace of the victim, and just the memories of bullies by phone, is not enough...

(Usb) Baroque and not brilliant, tha first part in the circus exceeds in some characters, and then things add to a climx wth 4 characters, but the tycoon is too Kane style, Blanchett is too stereotyped femme fatale...Roony Mara is the new Jean Simmons, she deserved better scenes...

(Usb) Homeless interviewed in an office and showed in its habitat. There´s no contemplation or field observation, but caring ans well informed approach...

(usb) Contrast between big hard boxer and thinf ballet dancer is so graphically enhanced, that there´s the heart of the film...
