(Mu) Oh, Assayas amuses a lot with this parody with a neurotic director (Leaud) who abandons the film and the whim of having Maggie Cheung in the lead, and some characters behind camera are immatures and gossipy fellows...

(Mu) The false smile, as a rictus, of the main character, makes sense when the film, taking long time but never boring, advances. Farhadi doesn'y deliver all the pieces, so you have your own doubts about the character and his mystified honor, and more than that, about iranian social hypocrisy and confusion...Nobody is entirely bad or good here...

(MU) Me reconcilié con esta de Pedro que parecía que se ató camisa de fuerza porque el secuestro constreñía mucho, pero un momento (Victoria pidiendo que la ate por si acaso) y algunos diálogos con esa 'asertividad y franqueza que disuelve y regenera el melodrama', que lo celebra y lo supera a la vez, me convencieron. Al final. provocá cantar 'Resistiré' con ellos...

(Mu) Kar Wai goes with his aestetics to martial arts historical genre and he diffuminaes the clarity of the sotry, even time and identity of characters. Even so, there's tone, texture, sediments, good action secuences with stop motions and then good dialogues (all the women woth the eggs stuff and the dalogues between friends is ok)...

(Mu) A 'fresco', not at all a 'fiasco'. Malcolm is always marginal and fanatical, when founds his own group and become more politial centered, is too late. He planted all he received and Spike is not too worried in the final balance.... The woman has a very strong character for the 90's...

(Mu) Was true the alert I read that wouldn't forget some images. More than that, set of images: the false elder freaks literally fucking everything, singing satanical lullabies, just fuckinf everything not in an erotic way....

(Mu) Lovably, comic, tender, unprejudiced, respectfull of dramatic unity, forget its made with an I Phone. Great metropolis LA, with so much subcultures and tribes having enough space...

(Mu) Classic adaptation to modern Germany of Cain's 'Postman rongs twice', with a great twist, almost a happy end. The inminent murdered, commits suicide...

(Mu) Not the first expriment using classic films (in style not because of its importance, in any film) as a basis, and succeeding on claiming interes on it; but it goes further in seeing the decompositios of optical film itself.

(Mu) Reichart is here the Oregon's Dardenne, but she goes in other way, she is more interested in the story, the feeling, the bond between, yeah, a young woman and his abandoned dog (is the same dog Lucy of "Old Joy"!)...
