(OK) Early 'drole' Villeneuve, philosoficas, fishes talking and the heroine becoming devastated by guilt and then redeemed with love. Without becoming heavy or too stylized...

(USB) Hard to take, almost real time spend with a family in thanksgiving day dinner, there's sadness and revelations, and some joy, rituals and detaisl where you fell the family stuff... The apartment and its cracks are part of the humans...

(USB) Lousy. Too many elements: nostalgia of 60s, fashion, music, terror, thriller, all mixed up and lost...

(USB) Great story, a kind of "The devils" of 2021, as much gore as depiction of fanatism. Somehow Verhoeven swap styles, from comic like medieval fantasies, to and action movie. But the story remains with its deep dilemmas...

(USB) A film and a place (in fact one street and one family) with a heart. The wasn't brilliant till Branagh rounds it wih the dilemma of leaving or staying in a lousy atmosphere of protestant violent fanatism. The boy is he heart of the heattfull story and makes tha laghs when says to mom: 'its biological' to justify the stealing of soap.

(OK) Mizoguchi simplifies too much or gets the best of each story, each character? Both. Whores are everything but strange characters here, are as fragile and as pracical and as moral as they could be in her business in where the body is a kind of safe box.

(NX) Best of these times, welcome again Jane Campion. The ambiguity, ellipses, mysteries, second thoughts, seduction between two characters not opposed as you may think, but complemented. The young boy is the knew Benedict, able to go where he was restrained to go, blame it to the mythical Bronco Harry (that´s all the 'western' in it) ...

(NX) Yeah, b/w is trendy, but the film has its own paused, serene style. The false white friend is a more reflexive add to de coloured family of the protagonist than a shock. And she is moving....

(Alcazar) Scott ammuses with the cast. All of them, sauf Pacino, has the burden of trying to be italian, that´s a bit annoying. Poduction values, in special set desing and properties of Gucci are excellent (even Mauicio remains as an non explained character, her obsessive wife is more developed, and has Selma Hayek as sidekick)...
