Tulip Fever review

Posted : 7 years, 1 month ago on 14 January 2018 04:33 (A review of Tulip Fever)

Hmmm, Chadwick is charmless but Dane Dehan is quite charming. One doesn´t believe the story and the characters, quite artificial as the scenes in the tulip market.

Victoria & Abdul review

Posted : 7 years, 1 month ago on 2 January 2018 02:14 (A review of Victoria & Abdul)

Frears at his lightest. The monarch and simple man friendship is a genre on its own. Here, Dench is ok as Victoria, and Abdul's character is ok, but they both are so well motivated, mmmhhhh, too naif and goodhearted

Hothc amuses with these incursion in the wrong innocent, because she (divine Valli) is really guilty and the innocent is secondary Jourdan, described as handsome by incredible Laughton.

Guns for San Sebastian review

Posted : 7 years, 2 months ago on 24 December 2017 04:26 (A review of Guns for San Sebastian)

Verneuil has a Holywoodesque and spaguetti flare here. Quinn is a good geir of wonderful priest Sam Jaffe. The important christian theme is a bit obscured by the action, and the forced romance with Comer.
