Just for kidding and learning the sound film making, Renoir is more than ok. Tha cast is delicious, even a miscast and victimized Simon.

Renoir at his early best. Clochard, artist, con, middle age anrchist romantic and murderer point of view. The bitchy girl is as mean as victim of another guy that pays for the three of all.

Have to see it twice to cathc its nightmarish compulsive, multireference, dramatic tone. It starts in a identity mistaken plot, and goes everywhere...

Really bad, but agile. Lousy dialogues, good cast. Sanda just wanders in an impossible village of Peru 1948, but is contemporary mexican coast.
