The Third Murder review

A like Koreeda. Good film on justice and truth, most is in dialogues (a problema) but not everything. The confusion between the girls (the advocate's daughter, the abused one) and the killings and the motives, is thrilling.

Thelma review

Disturbing, fantastic not underlining it. Thelma has superpowers, an illuminating switch, almost unnoticed, allows her to have them for good. Subtle.

In The Fade review

Good judicializaed and private revenge plot. Heroine is a stupid but is victimized but a machine state, with no commentary on the director.

The Insult review

A crash course on lebanon politics. A trial becomes nationwide theme, both parts has rigths and understand each other in private, as their defneders father and daughter. Each part has right to stay humgry and act accordingly.

Adventures of Captain Fabian review

Predictable, frivolous story of clash of status and revenge in New Orleans. Buy voodoo and revenge and ambitious related to revenge, in not understandable.

Le Mans review

Rare film, small plot, lot of improvisation, lot of documentary approach not being one. Is what happens when a sat has money, team and passion to do whatever...

Rome, Open City review

Lot of stories forced to be one by heavy images: magnani running and being killed while her little son is screaming, is a must. Is worth the film.

Wind River review

Landscape, social conflict and sordid 'non future' background, deserved something better than the Florida cop girl coming to a hard place; and too many people is dead, but a nice film all over.

Too Late for Tears review

Greta and simple and neat (and dark) as the plot: fate in the laps of an ambitious woman and a weak husband. I believe every line of Lizabeth, perfect housewife becoming a Tiger that intimidates Dan Duryea. He is noir, she is something else!!!

Faces Places (2017) review

Kinf of having fun with your grandmother. Agnes is so moving, and the film is so hazardous and sincere and not disruptive (sauf the visit to absent Godard)...
