It's Only the End of the World review

Posted : 7 years, 8 months ago on 4 June 2017 09:45 (A review of It's Only the End of the World)

Huis clos to a explosive talky family, too dependning on Vicncent Cassell explosions, too fatalist oriented, not findifing a momento to a espontaneous, frank, moving dialogue or gesture.

Michael Moore in TrumpLand review

Posted : 7 years, 8 months ago on 4 June 2017 09:42 (A review of Michael Moore in TrumpLand)

The humour of our time. Moore is a contemporary philosopher making a stand up instead of a conference, and always adding and irony, a new comment, a new reason.

Política, manual de instrucciones review

Posted : 7 years, 8 months ago on 4 June 2017 09:41 (A review of Política, manual de instrucciones)

The Prize review

Posted : 7 years, 8 months ago on 4 June 2017 09:36 (A review of The Prize)

Light Nobel winner in a jamesbondish intrigue; pretties blonde Sommer and brunette Diane Baker, and two faced EG Robinson. Robson is effective, not more.

Into the Inferno review

Vulcanoes are the pretext for visiting strange lands and ¡what a breaking documentary¡, even North Korea. Just fot the imagen in that country, the doc is worth seeing and devouring.

Letter from an Unknown Woman review

Posted : 7 years, 9 months ago on 21 May 2017 08:45 (A review of Letter from an Unknown Woman)

Ophuls at his best of two worlds. Hollywood straight to the facts storytelling, with european decadence (musical and of manners and honor), and wonderful filming. Jourdan is the real unknown, Fontaine is everything.

3 notti d'amore review

Posted : 7 years, 9 months ago on 21 May 2017 08:38 (A review of 3 notti d'amore)

A deception, even Spaak is radiant. Castellani tires to be comic and dark ans is helped by Salvatori ans sicilian maffiosi clises. Comencini has a one enlarged and simplified idea (she goes fot the priest and becomes nun when he goes for her), and Franco Rossi is a second Risi. Bah
