(MU) The american Kaurismaki, Jarmusch has 2 wonderful not so losers buddies in asexual love with Eva, hunging with her in cold Cleveland then going to separte accidentally the 3 of them in an isolated Florida motel. The fades in black and some scenes of laconic feelings of character such different and harmonious, are great (my favorite, the scene of the 3 firends plus Eva's boyfriend at the movies)....

(OK) Aldrich as sharp as he uses to be, specially when coping with the end of the gang and Ma at her/his 'noirest' with a machine gun. But its too easy for them to kill, easier than taming Slim. Darby changes too much, that's unconvincing, but that's Aldrich's sharpness...

(MU) A coming of age film that not comes at all, characters doesn't cope with thier dramas (she's gonna be blind, and he caught by police, and has a corny relationship...)

(MU) Poetic, melodramatic in Ghatak's way (long reaction close ups, small but sharp ellipsis, long as the river. Too extense plot, you loose some ends and twists, and fatality comes over all not even redeeming os sublimating...

(MU) Eugen improves as a director and seems to lose as a character. Here, Dasha steals the film and impose a sort of melancholy, trying to fuch someone. As the 4th of july party scene in "A wonderful cloud" here's a nice Halloween party scene...

(OK) 4 stars just because there´s two renditions of wonderful 'There's no business like showbusiness...' and because Betty Hutton is at her best. Even Howard Keel brigths close to her singing a playful duo....

(MU) Good plot, twisted characters masquerading a love hate story, Cotillard fascinates men and destroys them and everything, is not a neat heroine, is a woman of hatred and revenge, but the film treats her as the natural beauty inconscious of her looks, mmmhhh. The more 'ilustrative' of Gray's films...

(Mu) Too long and sans brio; Ai Weiwei, amuses and plays with his characters, quotes islamic poets, and make som good interviews as the princess of Jordan, a good heart country, is there is one...A big effort on the subject of refugees

(OK) After "Dirty Dozen", Aldrich did what he wanted, and was, as a contradiction to DD, this antibelicisto, heroism as a realtivist stupidity, as a mishappen of psycho, yellow or brutal men. Robertson is as good as Caine...

(MU) Fragile plot, too stupid character for the psychologicla stuff she pronounces, but some noir touches in Homeir character, a good supporting friend, a bad romantic ending...
