(Blu) First and lousy sounf Ford film. He hated the dialogue romantic scenes (directed by Lunsdem Hare) with Loy and McLaglen (laughable indeed).

(MU) The same characters you could see in a urban minimalist Jarmush film; here they are in prison and outdoors scape action, with tender coda, wise elipsis...

(OK) Somehow Ford indulges in his themes and style and topics so much that makes one of his longest films. Power is not so consistent with the hommages he receives, was a forced presence in Ford's world, probably because his irish roots...

(MU) Big suprprise from the World Cinema Project. A plot that could stanf for an actions stylized oriental film; and there it is, an not so quiet and contemplative, not so agile, ut fluent, drama of an horrendous killing not seen, and a revenge made aggainst fantastic and poetic interruptions, even a sexy moving flirt with live. Great performance by young hero, revenge becomes a poetic delirium that lulls the hero

(BLU) The wit, the humour, the charm, tha language of Ford's dearest Ireland in 3 stories. The first is humour and honour, great Purcell and Cusack. The second is a happy broth a Ireland humor, and even clicés in a one minute stop of a train, well many one minutes...The 3rd is a serioius drama with charm and impersonations, a patriot saved...

(MU) Cornucpia if rich images of women deliruin of power and sex, in surrealist clues with live action and animation incrustations...I prefer "Attenberg"...

(BLU) May wasn't lucky in movies; as they say she was with Mike Nichols in the stand up comedy. Interestng characters but doesn'r add too much for gags or even romantic scenes...

(BLU) One ot the simplest but richest Woody Allen´s. Great and expansive plot, narrated in fast pace (it contains the "I soliti ignoti" plot but then deviates), great lines and acting by Tracey Ullman (she beats Woody as only Keaton knew)...and Elaine May

(PA) Zeller exploit his "Father" hot but its not the process of downfall, here is a dry monochord non explained depression. Similar in theme but exploring the trio and sex is the scandinavian "Queen of hearts"...

(MU) If you thought "Dogville" was enough, ant the naked style of minimalist theatrical sets was ok for another film with another theme, there you have Grace involving in other shithoe, where confussions and fatalims ruins everything. Here is Grace´s lecturing a slavist farm in democracy....
