(PA) Fry's script and De Laurentis megaproduction, gets an action espectacular piece from the dense Lagerkvyst literary base. Its the force of some characters (Palance gladiator, Gassmnan christian) and the round fatalism going after Barabbas fate. Mangano dissapears at time (her character is semi cooked)...

(PA) It seems a 60s or 70s policial/political film, but in Iran you may see it as contemporary. The heroine, even well acted, is 'one piece'. The idea of a killer too exposed and fool and careless levaing traces, is good...

(MU) Von Trier's debut has more atmosphere than real policial stuff, everything granulated, silhoutted, sweatty...

(MU) Let's put 3 stars to this sober, tight, intelligent debut of an author who later savaged his work. Here he has a good character, plot, voice in off...

(PA) 'Black comedy with food topic and tight, well structured script? In fact, humour fails, dialogues are heavy but script goes ok, punctuated by the dishes. The satirical comments are heavy, but the set, the plates, some details as the applause, some supports as the chinese administrator....

(PA) Bah, the women are as tough as men, nothing else. Fights, rythm , escapes, romance in the middle, confusing plot and autorithy in the palace ruled by a king. In this kind of actionfilm, indian RRR beats hem all this year...
