(Usb) A stupid, intransigent, bad perosn as any other. She is loved. adored, by a great man woth whom she doesn't wann have a child, she cheats him, and then hurts a nice young man... posfeminism indagation a girl without prejudices and ambition...

(Mu) Movies are not the theme; it is the enthusiasm of living thanks to words and immages. Ebert even congratulates James to film a 'suction' in his body in horrible close up. Y prefer the Siskel & Ebert analisis by friends and Siskel's widow.

(Mu) I doubt if Varda would've made this just from still photos, if weren't for the success of Marker and "La jeteé". There´s everybody, from Fidel to Benny Moré and Wilfredo Lam, but just in photos....Anyway, is interesting to hear the hommage in words...

(OK) Good script, founded on mytery and sense of non said drama in the firt half; then everything in the open, even tha most fantastic and tender details of the human little lamb... a kind of rejection (or refraction) of rural happiness...

(Nx) McKay is good in hight tones and here has variation on a classic story (the comet smashing ig not deviated and in fact not deviated on time for Mark Rylance (great supporting composition) purposes...

(Mu) Agens was there, was sympathetic to the cause, and interviewed the leaders, even Huey Newton in prison. Kind of 'I salut les black tanthers' as she made Salut les cubains in 1963....

(Usb) Non gubernamental office film, too schematic to make the point of woman empowerment...the heroine doesn't stumbles...

(Usb) Hamagushi is a good storyteller, as his feminine character; somehow style is nos synchronized with it, main character has to resume things that wasn't so clear, but is clear that he is looking for clues and redemption, and has to move in the car for it. Just one objection: too much rests on Uncle vanyas intermitent texts...

(USB) Honest characters, and the nephew lonely uncle stuff is not so abused in movies, but real boring, with its gratuitous black and white, nothing solved...

(USB) Sauf the sitcom dialogue (too neurotic and selfonscious), a well structured tale, based in real life, of love between stars, Lucy an Desi being too conservative, prejudice against Desi and inside him, communist paranoia...
