Pretentious and corny in its romantization of german anarchism, with glamorous ex activists twice bombing Berlin...

What to Do in Case of Fire review

Pretentious in its wide historic anarchist twice bombing romantic effect. Besides that and its glamorous anarchist cast, not much else...

Roma review

Posted : 6 years, 5 months ago on 17 December 2018 02:48 (A review of Roma)

The Long Farewell review

Posted : 6 years, 5 months ago on 17 December 2018 01:29 (A review of The Long Farewell )

Nouvelle vague out of place, in comunism, in the spirit of a relatively young mother refusisn to understand why her son wants to abandon her...When she writes a letter for an old father, you understand everything

The Way to the Stars review

Posted : 6 years, 5 months ago on 17 December 2018 01:18 (A review of The Way to the Stars)

So Hollywood on England, war efforto and drama ai its best. The disparition of Redgrave early in the plot is effective, because Mills and Rosamund (wonderful as bride with the noise of planes over her face) act their sadness superbly.

Pupi and Delle Piane, always work; thriller of cards and revenge, fortune and luck, trick or treat; Delle Piane is fantastic

Cheopcheopsanjung review

Posted : 6 years, 5 months ago on 10 December 2018 03:24 (A review of Cheopcheopsanjung)

Imnot even sure if this is this undistinguised color Hong's story: 3 or more stories of an artist deambulating between women and particpating in a drunken brawl; a man in a hotel with a prostitute and then (or before, there is some strange time lapses) murnig his wife with a white cup on his head (supposedly corean funerary tites), and a woman assiting this and a sort of mass murder...

Siccîn review

Posted : 6 years, 5 months ago on 8 December 2018 11:12 (A review of Siccîn)

The origin of the cycle, enough for my taste. Turkish ability to turn on hollywoodesque horror with religious references (coran instead of the bible) as they have turned on latinamerican telenovelas
