Bleak Street review

Posted : 8 years, 2 months ago on 20 February 2017 02:27 (A review of Bleak Street)

The Second Mother review

Posted : 8 years, 2 months ago on 20 February 2017 02:24 (A review of The Second Mother)

Laurence Anyways review

Posted : 8 years, 2 months ago on 19 February 2017 04:59 (A review of Laurence Anyways)

Too long but good angle to see the transsexual and transgender drama: what happens to the straight couple when the man turns to be the woman he wants to be.

Detective Story review

Posted : 8 years, 2 months ago on 19 February 2017 04:55 (A review of Detective Story)

A little aged: little clisés and stereotyped little characters among the way, the 'real time' narration is not too real. But a great sad ending. One of the best Douglas.

Watership Down review

Posted : 8 years, 3 months ago on 13 February 2017 02:14 (A review of Watership Down)

Crude tale of rabbits as a running anguished race. Blood and shadows and a pretty sequence of a premonition.

Evolution review

Posted : 8 years, 3 months ago on 12 February 2017 04:35 (A review of Evolution)

Lo and Behold: Reveries of the Connected World review

Good questions by kind of simple philosopher Herzog for the right interviewed characters. A bit tremendous anti internet, but it has some well defines chapters.

Hidden Figures review

Posted : 8 years, 3 months ago on 12 February 2017 04:27 (A review of Hidden Figures)

A pre Obama film in a post Obama era. Maybe, that makes sense. Washed up, well narrated (I like, for a change, strict classical linnear continuity with well calculated plantings), with quite a few strong moments (Mary running from the bathroom, Kevin destroying the isolated bathroom).

My King review

Posted : 8 years, 3 months ago on 6 February 2017 03:54 (A review of My King)

American Honey review

Posted : 8 years, 3 months ago on 6 February 2017 03:53 (A review of American Honey)
