(OK) Episodic, irregular, the birth of Israle in soties of almost accidental figjters, one with englisg flegme and romance, the other with irony and conversion to faith (the ticker of a booked tour to Jerusalem is an irony in itself), the third one with kind of humour, with a nazi lost in any war. The end , with the UN patrol deciding, by the deads and flags who won a hill, is round...

(OK) Sad decline for Wise. Can't even recall echoes of West side story in the tugurized NY streets, abandoned buildings and rooftops. The capoeira/fight dancing fgringo style, is a loose end, not even a plot....

Mangano is a star 'burnt alive', his dead beauty in the shadow, losing conscience and being touched by the guests to the party (great scene) , ending as a zombie over the snow and climbing to the helicopter....Pasolini sketch is a kind a moder uceellacci, divine populist naivete, with sex and misery involved, Toto is wonderful....De Sica with the forced drams of a housewife married to the american Eastwood, Bolognini in a sketch similar to the masterpiece of Sordi and the injured man en "Nuovi mostri" (here Sordi is the injured and Mangana the chauffeur); finally Franco Rossi made a little skethc of a thesis on sicilain vendetta with sex and religion motifs...everybody dies...whta a witch...
