Amanda Knox review

All the elements to make your own judgment on Knox's guilt; but lacks of -at least- a resume of the facts and lies we knox she is really guilty of. Americans are too protective with her jewells abroad?

Fire at Sea review

Subtle idea for a doccumentary: why a young innocent lampedusian boy is anguished, without knowing, with the refugees crisis.

The Sea of Trees review

Good paced, nightmarish but quiet story of guilt more than pity before a resentful wife. McConnaughey ok, better than use of location.2

Just a Gigolo review

Baroque in themes (gigolo, romane, fascism, crisis) but not in style. Dietrich is more respectful than moving, Bowing is learning, Rome is excellent, Novak amuses herself, Maria Schell ok.

Story of a Cloistered Nun review

Simple, straightforward, rude, softporn, nunxploitation, good location. Best of all the sadomasoquist stuff between nuns. Spaak kissing the floor, good moment

White God review

Tom at the Farm review

Xavier and his unnerdy, prolific, avoiding stylization, not too efectist this time, not too naturalistic, kind of elyptical approach to a good story of gay love and rural prejudice.

The Snails review

(Lucky it comes in the smae edition of "Le planet sauvage"). More than in 'Le planet', Laloux stops to astonished before Topor's images; even the plot of inasion of giant snails is very cinetic.

Fantastic Planet review

Problems with rythm and animation itself, but Topor's images and imaginerie is just great. He anticipates Moebious and Jodorowsky,
